Business Systems Analyst 1997-1999
· Planned and implemented a domain consolidation from a multiple master model to a single model for 300+ users in preparation for a Microsoft Exchange rollout. Upgraded and installed NT servers as necessary on both Intel and Alpha platforms, using RAID 1 and 5.
· Installed and administered Microsoft Exchange Server on Alpha platforms, joining a 55,000-user enterprise.
· Advise users with day to day issues, on Windows 95 and NT platforms. Troubleshoot connectivity issues between VMS/Pathworks and NT servers, as well as LAN and WAN status.

· Planned and implemented a disk-cloning program for PC builds to minimize costs, utilizing Ghost Pro and Power Quest Drive Image.

Microsoft Exchange Support Engineer 1996-1997
· Primary Response Group Engineer supporting Microsoft’s Exchange Server. Handle the initial calls into the support line, working with customers through installation and configuration problems.
· Two weeks training using Microsoft Official Training Curriculum in a lab environment with six (6) other support engineers. Items covered included all of the shipped options with the Enterprise edition of Exchange server, including Internet Mail Connector, Microsoft Mail Connector, X.400 Connector, Site Connectors to name a few.

Senior Support Engineer 1996-1996
· Specialty Consultant in the area of Microsoft Mail Post office to Post office communications. Providing second level support to the primary response group through conferencing and guidance. Specialty area includes all aspects of dir-sync, mail flow between post offices, Global address lists, and group management. Multi-tasking MTA.
· Logging and monitoring assigned open calls and escalation queues to ensure timeliness on call back situations consistent with department goals for problem response and open call duration time.
· Three weeks of training in Microsoft Mail server, Windows NT, and Asynchronous Communication, parts of which were delivered directly from Microsoft.

· Technical support for Microsoft Mail and Microsoft Schedule+. Daily communication with Mail and Network Engineers, analyzing error messages to help solve in-depth network, asynchronous communications, database and software problems.
· Trouble-shooting Directory Synchronization, Schedule Distribution, Multi-tasking MTA, Gateways, network rights and permissions, varying mail and network compatibility and interaction.
